Short Summer

Well summer is gone and I have accomplished absolutely nothing. I lost something in my office today and can't find it so I've decided it's time to clean off the shelves and put things away.  I am so bad about just sliding things on the shelves.

I haven't done anything significant in my flowers but they are getting prettier with each set I make.  It proves that practice really does improve you in little ways.  I'm in the midst of making hibiscus flowers for Leisa.  I want to get as vibrant colors as I can so there are hibiscus everywhere but I have pretty much decided on the reds and yellows - the classic hibiscus.  Then I need to find her to see if we can do dinner.  I miss having the meetings but I really don't know when I would squeeze them in.  Maybe I'll plan something for when the weather cools down.  Even though I am taking the studio apart you don't really think I have physically done anything do you?  Of course not.  I'm lucky I remember to make the bed before I leave for work - I have this theory that you have to air it out - works for me.

I want to go on vacation but can't seem to find time for that either.  We're thinking of Maui but the length of the trip is a killer.  We swore after the first time that we would not go back but it does sound nice.

So if anyone is reading this I am still around.

Well, I'm reading your blog! I was just thinking about you and Pam and how we should have a get together I received by macaw bead from Kim Fields and it is just beautiful ~ I do need some pretty flowers to go with it - hint, hint ;0 I will try and photograph it so you can see it. Oh, and may I go to Maui? Actually, there's a bead show there in January. I think Tammy (T-beads) is going - I'm sooo jealous. Oh well, one day....in the mean time I have learned Kumihimo with beads - I must find my zen and practice. Hope all is well - tata for now
