Has this been a beautiful weekend or what!  Talked to MBBP Jan today and her and Holly will be at the Gathering.  In fact, Holly was awarded a scholarship!  Leisa will be going up on the same flight as me, Pam has to go up earlier and I haven't heard from Kara and Chris but I believe they are going as well.  This is going to be so much fun!

David was away this weekend so I got some really good torch time as well as put up a lot of flowers on the website.  I also majorly cleaned my studio because it was just the piggiest little place and was inhibiting my natural thought process.  I sat down at the torch this morning and it was nice. 

Also I heard from Steve Hoff who has decided to sell off all of his equipment and glass.  His new house just doesn't work for setting up a studio and his life like most of ours is overly busy.  He did promises to occassionally come down and play with us.  He's such a good lampworker but I am sure that his talent will channel into something good.

There's a Bead show in Miami next weekend - Beadfest.  I think Pam said it was out by the airport.  We're going to try to make it on Sunday.  I really don't know why bead shows don't plan things in Fort Lauderdale - definitely more centrally located and it would bring in both Miami and Palm Beach beaders.  I need some new findings so I really want to go.

These are really cool little hibiscus.  In fact everything I made this weekend was either large or very small.  I truly love going small.
